Chris is currently pursuing an MBA while leading a Design Quality team responsible for Global Design Transfer Processes. He has expertise in Illumina SBS and library preparation technologies, troubleshooting and solving complex product performance issues in a “high mix, low volume” area and implementing lean principals to maximize utilization/throughput and minimize errors/waste.
Chris and the teams he leads are always striving to rapidly mature novel processes into sustainable practices. He formerly led a team of 20 high-performing QC scientists, process development and equipment engineers responsible for process improvement and sustaining in Quality Control.

Ali Montazer

Ali is a senior executive with an extensive background in directing technology and product groups. His industry experience is diverse and includes Healthcare/Sleep, Digital Health, Medical Devices, Retail, Fashion, Electronics, Computers and Telecommunication. Ali combines experiences from corporations to startups and is a big believer in lean methodology to address today’s business needs.
He practices the leadership philosophy of Leading by Example, with the goal of empowering and motivating teams. Ali believes a positive and enthusiastic attitude emphatically impacts a team’s morale which fosters high-performing teams throughout an organization. This increase in performance enables business growth.

Scott is a proven leader with strategic focus and excellent analytic and process aptitude demonstrated through success across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering (development and sale order execution) as well as across component parts and prime products. He has a successful track record with developing product, individual, team and process capability that exceeds business objectives.

Alan Moazzam
Hospitalist - UC San Diego Health
Alan provides Hospital Medicine services at both high-volume, UC San Diego Health hospitals: Hillcrest and La Jolla – 808 beds in total. His experience includes delivering care in both community hospital and large academic center settings.
Alan is also an MBA Graduate Student at Rady School of Management. His primary interest is in developing expertise in areas such as healthcare economics, lab-to-market business strategy, new venture financing, product commercialization, and applied market research. Ultimately, he would like to work on a project from its inception as an idea to its fruition as a viable company.
Recreationally Alan enjoys reading, boxing, Judo, traveling, and spending time with his Rottweiler.

Jay Wright
CEO - Campfire
Jay Wright has been a technology entrepreneur building his vision for future computing platforms for more than 25 years.
His latest venture is Campfire, a new company focused on holographic collaboration for design and engineering workflows. Led by pioneers of today’s most well-known augmented reality platforms, Campfire provides a new generation of devices and applications that enable globally distributed teams to work with 3D models as if sharing a central holographic projector.
Most recently, he spent 10 years building Vuforia from inception to becoming the leading augmented reality platform for developing handheld and headworn applications. He also created Vuforia Chalk, a solution for remote presence and assistance described by Forbes as “the Future of Education, Service and Support”. Jay created Vuforia at Qualcomm where he was responsible for global commercialization of non-radio technologies, ranging from computer vision to neuromorphic hardware.
While Jay has served largely in executive management roles, he is a software engineer underneath with a passion for design and building experiences that “wow” people. He spends little time writing code anymore, but does enjoy digging into new tools to fulfill his appetite for learning. Jay holds 10 patents and looks forward to continuing to invent the future.
